Core Courses

These courses focus on one of the most important aspects of the Learning Sciences program, learning theory.

Research Courses

As research is a vital component of any Ph.D. program, I was required to take a number of research courses. Most of these included a deep look into various quantitative and qualitative techniques, and many were geared towards research in the field of education.

EDF 9770- Multiple Regression/General Linear Model in Educational Research

EDF 9790- Qualitative Research in Education

EDF 9750- Mixed Methods in Educational Research

Cognate Courses

This aspect of the program allowed me to personalize my degree by choosing from a variety of cognate courses in various subjects, including many subcategories within education, family and community studies, psychology, and health, education, and human development.
