About Me

My name is Abigail Stephan, and I received a B.A. in Language and International Trade with an emphasis in Spanish and a minor in Anthropology in May 2017. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Learning Sciences at Clemson University. For more information about my  academic curriculum, both as an undergraduate and as a graduate student at Clemson University, please view the Academics page

I am a firm believer in using your personality and your strengths to your advantage. As an INFJ personality type, nicknamed the "Advocate," I am very value-driven, attempt to understand others, and seek to identify the bigger picture in events and interactions. Additionally, the StrengthsFinder 2.0 metric identified my top five strengths as input, learner, discipline, responsibility, and intellection. In short, I crave to know more, desire to continuously improve, enjoy routine and structure, commit to tasks, and appreciate intellectual discussions. To read the full report on the assets I can bring to a team or use towards my individual work, please read my Gallup StrengthsFinder 2.0 Report.

What does all of that mean? Both as a student and as a young individual, I love learning. I like to find new experiences that will not only sharpen my current skills, but also challenge me to build new skills. My goal every day is to surround myself with people, activities, and adventures that help me to become a better version of myself in the hopes that I can personally impact others locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
