My Entangled Journey
Spring 2016: EL Coaching Part II
During Spring 2016, I learned so much about myself as an Entangled Learner, as an EL Coach, and as an individual. On the left, you'll find buttons linked to Synthesis I and Synthesis II. These documents contain detailed information and critical reflection about my method of learning and growing.
Below, you'll find additional information about the Coaching Implementation Presentation, the EL CU 1970 participants' poster presentations, and my own twist on our Entangled Learning story as coaches.

I believe it captures the essence of the successful creation of a friendly atmosphere that the coaches set out to establish. |
As a requirement for CU 1970, students had to create community posters about what they've learned about Entangled Learning, in addition to individual learning portfolios. The gallery below shows the participants during their poster presentations.

Coaching Implementation Presentation: Taking Flight with Entangled Learning
At an end of semester Entangled Learning Implementation Presentation, Molly and I had the privilege to discuss our own experience with Entangled Learning as coaches in the CU 1970 course. The Adventures of Finn and Mae: Entangled Learning Coaches
Writing and illustrating this Entangled Learning children's book was important to me for a number of reasons.
Discussion of the need for an EL mindset earlier in life was a recurrent theme this semester. Showing children the benefits of EL will allow for this fundamental shift early on. At the same time, I have been able to pursue my passion of writing and illustrating to promote something good for Entangled Learning.
This book demonstrates that playing with boundaries is not synonymous with squandering time, but rather that it allows the imagination to reach heights previously thought to be unattainable. Hopefully, this small project can grow into something bigger and something meaningful.
